Special MotoGP™ Display: "Traces of Honda at its First Challenge at WGP: World's Rivals"

Honda came in 13th position when it finished its first international race in 1954 at the "Motorcycle Race Commemorating 400 Years of São Paolo". It was here that the founder of Honda, Soichiro Honda keenly felt the technological gap with the international manufacturers and announced Honda's participation in the Isle of Man TT Race, which was considered at that time one of the most grueling of the grand prix races. This exhibition will display the first machine that Honda sent overseas to race, the overseas racers that were competing at that time and show how much of a great challenge that announcement entailed.
